The Oyé 2009 programme could be subject to change!
'Due to current U.K. Border Agency practice it is hugely difficult to obtain U.K. Visas
for African and Caribbean Artists, and as result the Oyé 2009 programme could
be subject to change'.

It would help Oyé, their U.K, and mainland E.U. colleagues, if each of you could email your MP and ask them why it is so difficult for African and Caribbean Artists to be issued U.K. Visas, and why the U.K. Visa system has been privatised to two external Agencies who charge from 12$ to 15$ per minute for any Visa enquiry by telephone!

Oyé Touring & Trading

From June 2009 Oyé’s subsidiary company Oyé Touring & Trading will
be touring the Best Live African and Caribbean Live Music around the UK.

Oyé Touring & Trading will organise two UK tours this year including Reggae
Superstar Freddie McGregor from Jamaica in June & July who you can see at
Oyé 09, and Odemba OK Jazz All-stars from DR Congo in September & October
with a Liverpool date to be confirmed.
