Movèma will be bringing the first dance tent to Africa Oye and you can take part for FREE! From African dance, to Brazilian Samba and Caribbean carnival moves – so don’t miss your chance to learn new moves and have some fun!

The BeatLife percussion troupe combine Afro-Brazilian and Cuban grooves with modern urban beats to create an international sound.
Exploring through drum and dance the movement of rhythms from West Africa to the Americas, Beatlife deliver a show featuring drummers, brass musicians and professional dancers.

 

Capoeira is a Afro-Brazilian Art, a Unique Art born out of oppression and slavery in the 16th Century. Capoeira combines Self-Defence, Acrobatics, Music, Dance and a pout pourri of African, Native Brazilian and Portuguese cultural elements.

 
A huge range of beautiful African musical instruments, as well as hand blended incense from around the world, and delicious coffee, teas, hot chocolate and lovely home made cakes:-
12:30 for Kids, 2:30 for Adult Beginners, 6:30 for more advanced and 9pm onwards for the evening jam.
 
A range of inflatables guaranteed to keep the kids ammused!
